Turkish Citizenship by Real Estate Investment
Real persons of foreign nationality are given the right to acquire Turkish citizenship through exceptional procedures, in case they purchase real estate worth 400,000 USD or more.
For this purpose, foreigners:
It is required to purchase real estate worth at least 400,000 USD.
In the application for citizenship, it should state that they purchased the real estate for this purpose, this purpose should be stated in the deed, and the foreigner should declare that he will not sell the real estate for three years in the form where the declarations are made.
When the title deed procedures are completed, the foreigner can apply to the relevant administrations and request the right of residence or citizenship by sending the certificate of conformity to be issued for the owner of the real estate.
Land registry of the real estate or information of village/neighborhood, plot, parcel, building and independent section
Photo ID or passport issued by the country of nationality of the foreigner (Notarized and sworn translations of identity cards and passports issued in alphabets other than Latin alphabet must be submitted)
If the transaction includes a power of attorney, the document related to the representation (decision regarding guardianship, authorization document, power of attorney, etc.)
Document on the current market value of the real estate issued by the relevant municipality
Compulsory earthquake insurance policy for buildings
One photo of the seller and two photos of the buyer (must be 6×4 cm and taken in the last six months)
Sworn translator if one of the parties does not speak Turkish

4 passport-size photos of each member of your family
Residence permit or valid Touristic Visa on passport
If applicable, documents proving your relationships with your spouse and children (marriage license, children’s birth certificates)
If applicable, Turkish ID copy and address of applicant’s relatives in Turkey
Application tax payment receipt
Bank receipt showing that your real estate is worth at least 400.000 USD
Title deed or Notarized property purchase commitment
